Erick Platten is a Criminal Defense Lawyer. He was raised in Tyler, Texas by his parents, who taught him to be compassionate and help those in need. By the impressionable age of thirteen Erick had a friend and mentor that opened his eyes to the practice of law, and the Justice system. Erick witnessed first hand how citizens were being taken advantage of by the Government, Big Businesses and Insurance companies. All of these experiences made Erick want to help citizens in need. Erick Platten is an aggressive defense attorney protecting the rights of citizens all across the Lone Star State.

Erick is married and enjoys his family, traveling, scuba diving and, Harley riding.

Erick is a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Tyler, the University of Texas at Tyler (with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Speech) and, Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth (with a Doctoral Degree in Jurisprudence).
